So this week entire... (week entire? no,
this entire week. Portuguese is taking over my grammar) I've been
thinking about how I can describe how flipping giaaaant my new area is.
And this is how it went...
Wow... let's think
City Center, Eagle Mountain... yeah... probably my subdivision and the
subdivision next to us (you know... the one where the Monson's live?)
and then I found out our subdivision is a little bit bigger....
Alright...
so our entire subdivision, the subdivision of the Monson's... and the
subdivision where Eagle Valley Elementary is. Yeah... that's really
big... and probably accurate.
But now I'm fairly certain I've got the perfect example of my new giant area.
Endless.
hahahahah
no just kidding. Those three giant subdivisions ---and all the empty
land in between. All walking... and hot....and the church lies on the
other end of eternity. Haaahahahah But I love it!!
Uruguaiana
has the feel a lot like LaPoint, Utah. TONS OF HORSES. And cows... but
mostly horses. Wild horses, tamed horses, baby horses... phantom horses.
Just horses!!!
My new companion is Sister
Brito. I lived with her in my first transfer. Here is a picture of us
eating a delicious Brazilian Pizza (yes, there really is a difference)
Aaaand.... the other picture... is a picture of my tristeza. (that means
sadness)
Do you see my wool-sock
suck-up-your-foot-sweat-thing that I love so very much? Yup... it
fell... four stories... on the roof of our neighbor's garage.....
so yeah maybe you'll all be recieving a video of a crazy sister skimming rooftops in Brazil.
Well!!! Sorry to make it short this week but I actually have emails to read! *yaaay for family love!*
Thank you all for the emails and the pictures!! I flipping love to receive pictures!!!!
TCHAU
Sister Hennefer
AH!
Before I forget! I have an invite/request for everyone. What is an
experience (hopefully a positive one) that you had with
member-missionary work?
woooooot excited to
hear your answers!!! And if you haven't had one yet... talk with your
local missionaries or your Bishop!! And they will be thrilled to invite
you to partake in the joy of sharing the gospel!
